Painting- A Depiction of Art

Art grips your attention, whether it is exhibited on a paper or a material. As such painting is clear depiction of that art, which has been in society since prehistoric times. It is a sign of human civilization which shows an artistic behavior.
Wall paintings are in-style all over the world, and their popularity is increasing day by day as confirmed by its dominance on houses, offices, exhibitions and buildings. As society is developing, there is inclusion of different styles, techniques and designs. It decorates a space, as well as used
for conveying artists’ messages. It is used for the religious depiction, acts of devotion, signs of protest and means of instruction. You can call them murals also. It helps in turning an ordinary room into a tropical escape or an enchanted forest because of different types which are given below:
  • Abstract paintings: that are very difficult to paint, and involves careful composition of colors. Though it not needs any subject representation but it needs careful planning and execution. A common person lacks the mental ability to appreciate abstract art. But it needs to have something that grips the attention of viewer, keeps it viewing and generates an emotional response.
  • Portrait Paintings: They add sophisticated nature to the décor of your room, include portraits of people and animals and most suitable for rooms and libraries. When photography was not there in ancient times, these were quite popular, and artists used to capture the beautiful expressions of people.
  • Landscape (Traditional) Paintings: Include the portraits of nature. They are best choice for dinning rooms, bedrooms, study rooms and offices as well.
  • Still Life Paintings: These include still pictures of objects like flowers, toys, and vegetables etc, primarily designed for the decoration purpose according to the type of place.
  • Fresco painting: It is made on fresh plaster (therefore called fresco) by mixing with color pigments ground in water. This art of fresco is very ancient, started in Greeks period and then modernized by Romans.
  • Marble paintings: are famous in Rajasthan-India; this art is done on jewellery items. Most of these works are so great that you are be-fooled in believing that the jewellery piece you are seeing is real, and would be tempted to pick it up.
Various choices and varieties are available for now days, but you need to choose that one which suits your room well, like cartoon paintings are best choice for kids’ room.
